SC Decision on SAITM to be Discussed by SLMC at a Meeting on 17th Feb.

The Medical Council’s primary attention has been focused on whether a petition should be filed at the Supreme Court challenging the verdict given by the appeal court regarding SATIM. The SLMC  scheduled to meet today and hold an initial discussion about the subject.
On the other hand all students  of eight medical faculties island wide are boycotting educational activities till the private medical college at Malabe is abolished. Medical Faculty Students’ Steering Committee member Udara Shrimal told our news team that the Colombo Medical Faculty was also boycotting educational activities.
The SLMC is scheduled to meet on 17th of this month to take a decision on the verdict given by the Supreme Court regarding SATIM.
