Arrest of 1300 From Tri Forces

Nearly 42,800 from  Tri forces ( Army, Navy , Air Force) have   kept away from reporting for duty .  They were given time till 31^st December  2016 to report for duty  and get them released .  Followed by this,  search  operation carried out  between the period 31^st December 2016 and 14^th February 2017  resulted in arrest of  1300.  Island wide search and arrest was done by the military police  and the police.  Arrested 1300  comprised of 984 army personnel  236 Navy personnel and 14 Air Force personnel .
