Kalutara Prison Bus Shooting Suspects Identified

Sri Lanka Police says that a majority of suspects  including  the chief suspects responsible  for shooting  on Kalutara prison bus  on Monday have been identified.

Police  received  information  that several members of the underworld gang are attempting to flee the country using fake passports.

Hence,  two special Police teams have been deployed at  the Bandaranayake International Airport and the Mattala Airport to prevent the suspects from leaving the country.

The operation to arrest the suspects is being carried out under special directives of Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara and Senior Deputy Inspector General of Crime, Traffic Administration and Road Safety in the Western Province Nandana Munasinghe.
