Due to pressure from foreign parties and their intrinsic anti-national leanings, members of the good governance government co-sponsored the Geneva resolution on Srilanka in 2015.
Former President MP Mahinda Rajapaksa blamed the Good Governance Government has failed to hold talks with the new US administration and to get the resolution against Sri Lanka amended even though a radical regime change has taken place in the USA.
Further, in his statement he mentioned , the government’s efforts to change the Constitution, the law and the structure of the Sri Lankan state are expected to come to the fore in the months ahead.
