Wimal Could not be Produced Due to Poor Health

In a  case  filed in Colombo High Court  against Former Deputy Minister Mohammed Myown Mustapha in connection with  alleged attempt to bribe present Spokesman of the National Freedom Front Mohammed Muzammil, to provide assistance to MP Sarath Fonseka during the 2010 Presidential Election,  Wimal Weerawansa was a witness.
When the case was taken up today,  Director of the new Magazine Prison and the Chief Medical Officer of the Prison Hospital has informed the Colombo High Court today that the Leader of the National Freedom Front, United People’s Freedom Alliance Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa cannot be produced before court today, due to his poor health condition.
Other  witnesses in the case including Mohammed Muzammil were present during today’s hearing, the case hearing once again was postponed to  15th of June.
