Consumers to Report Violations to Telephone No 1977

Minister of Industry and Commerce had a discussion with the , Consumer  Affairs Authority officials  on the eve of Sinhala and Hindu New year. Followed by this  discussion, a press  release was issued by the Ministry . It’s  states  in order to  safeguard consumers from unscrupulous traders several special work plan had been made.

Consumers are advised  to report  any violation  of the  consumer laws to officials of the consumer Affairs Authority on emergency telephone number  1977.
