Regulating Private Hospital Fees

Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratna has appointed a Commission under the Chairmanship of  Director General of Health Dr. Jeyasundara  to study and recommend the range of fees to be charged by private hospitals  for treatments, laboratory services as well as other investigations.  The Commission has submitted it’s report to the Minister yesterday(17).  Minister  Rajitha Senaratna said  after studying the report private hospitals fees will be regularized  through a regulations.
