University of Ruhuna Temporarily Closed

Followed by two groups of students fought  with each other last night in the University of Ruhuna, the  University administration has announced that two faculties of the University of Ruhuna  would be  temporarily closed down.

Accordingly, university’s administration confirmed that the Faculty of Management and Finance and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences would be shut down temporarily.

Two students  injured in the fight had been admitted to the Matara Base Hospital for treatment .

Students of  the two faculties have reportedly been instructed to leave the university premises by the evening today (23).
