NPC Chief Minister Recommends Removal of 2 Ministers but …

Followed by a special committee appointed by the Northern Province Council Chief Minister  to  inquire  and report on  corruption charges  made against  4 Ministers. But  the committee recommended removal of  only 2 Ministers

Hence, Northern Provincial Council (NPC)   Chief Minister  recommended   removal of  2  Ministers , Agriculture Minister  Ponnuthurai Ayngaranesan and Education Minister Thambyrajah Gurukularajah, but  the Tamil National Alliance constituent parties demand dismissal of  all four NPC Ministers.  Sixteen members in the Northern Provincial Council have handed over a letter to the Chief Minister C.V.Wigneswaran demanding the removal of four ministers.

Final decision will be taken at the NPC  meeting scheduled  to  be held  Shorty.
