NPC No Confidence Motion Syndrome Has Gone to NCP as well

The Northern Provincial Council Chief Minister C. V. Wigneswaran while participating in a press conference yesterday said, that due to realistic response received including agreeing to withdraw affidavits submitted against him, the problem arisen in the provincial council had been more or less resolved. While this is the situation in the NPC, 11 UNP councillors representing the opposition have signed a no confidence motion against the North-Central Province Chairman, M.R.Siripala, who alleged to have acted in a manner that causes violation of confidence. Reports say that this no-confidence motion is due to be moved. Opposition leader Anil Ratnayake said that this will be presented soon
