BBS Dilanda Withanage Welcomes Jamiyyathul Ulama Rizvi’s Proposal to Appoint a Committee..

In response to a proposal made by the President of the  All Ceylon  Jamiyyathul Ulama Board, Ash-Sheik M.I.M.Rizvi to the President Maithreepala Sirisena to appoint an independent committee to go deep into the doubts and accusations thrusted upon Muslims by the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS),BBS Committee member Dr.Dilanda Withanage welcomed it. He said, that the BBS is not against the entire Muslim population but only against a section of them who have chosen extremism.

When a committee is appointed we are glad to represent our views and Muslims can express their views, which will ensure peaceful coexistence. This is what we too wanted. Our leader Galaboda Gnanasara Thera  too prepared  to follow peaceful lines in accordance with the guidance  given by the Malwatta and Asgiriya chapters.
