GMOA Complained to Police

 Followed by  a discussion held with the  Secretary to the President regarding issues related to the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM), that Dr. Nevil Fernando alleged to have made a certain statement, which could provoke the general public against doctors, Government Medical Officer’s Association (GMOA)complained that similar statement by him in the past threatening doctors by provoking the public. Hence, GMOA decided   to complaint to the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

GMOA Secretary Dr. Haritha Aluthge said, that this could be taken as threats against the trade union.
