Land Slide Warning to Agalawatta Residents

NDMC Assistant Director Pradeep Kodippili said, that yesterday Agalawatta had experienced rainfall close to 100 millimetre. Further, the met department states that showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and North-Western provinces today too.

Considering the prevalent inclement weather, the National Disaster Management Centre has requests residents in the hill country of Agalawatta to be on alert, regarding potential landslides.
