Unity & Place for Buddhism Shall Not be Neglected -President

While speaking at an event held in Dehiattakandiya President Maithripala Sirisena said ,that the government shall  never abandon the responsibility  to ensure the unity and  place for Buddhism in the proposed new Constitution. President Sirisena said the people’s interest in the new Constitution is mainly  on the request for a new electoral system. Hence, a system of political science should be implemented in a unitary country for the devolution of power and when building national reconciliation.
