Several JO MPs Inclined to Join Maithree Abandoning Mahinda

UPFA General Secretary Mahinda Amaraweera yesterday said, that several Joint Opposition (JO) MPs were said to be fed up with the protests and demonstrations organized by it proved to be negative and not benefitted them.. They are  sending out feelers to the Party seeking our nod to abandone Rajapaksa-led Joint Opposition and cross over to President Maithripala Sirisena’s camp in the SLFP.

 Amaraweera said more members of the Joint Opposition would join President Sirisena afterLocal Government and Provincial Council elections dates are declared.
