Ranil Request Private Medical Institutions /Labs to Issue Dengue Blood Test  Within Two Hours

In a discussion Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasighe had with the Health authorities  on dengue  yesterday (20), he requested the private medical Institutes and laboratories to issue dengue blood report within two hours of the test. He said, the government hospitals take only  1 ½ hours (90mts) to issue dengue  blood report. He further said, now private medical Institutes and laboratories take 8 hours to issue dengue blood report.

Having considered the urgent need for dengue blood report to diagnose and  commence treatment with the view to save lives, he has made this request in writing.
