Over 116,000 duty-unpaid cigarettes seized

Over 116,000 illegally imported cigarettes have been seized by the Revenue Task Force (RTF) of the Sri Lanka Customs, this morning (15).
It was reported that the approximate street value of the cigarettes haul is over Rs. 6.4 million.
The Sri Lanka Customs are conducting further investigations, in this regard, Customs Media Spokesperson Leslie Gamini said.
