Grenade Attack 17 Wounded

A hand grenade was hurled at two groups engaged in a brawl. At least seventeen individuals were injured and hospitalized due to a clash involving two groups in the Wetiya Junction area in Angunakolapelessa.

Police said 14 persons were admitted to the Embilipitiya Hospital while 3 others were admitted to the Tangalle Hospital.

The brawl broke out last night in Angunakolapelessa.
