The SLFP Won’t Contest LG Elections Under “Swan” Symbol

The SLFP General Secretary said, that their doesn’t expect to contest the upcoming local government elections along with the UNP under the Swan symbol. But contest as SLFP party under its symbol “Hand”.
However , taking into consideration the views expressed by other parties,which join the coalition changes in symbol may be considered.He confirmed the UNP and the SLFP will contest separately un their
respective party symbols.
