Weather Forecast For 10th October 2017

Showery condition over the island is expected to enhance during next few days and cloudy skies are also likely over most parts of the island.

Showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the island (Particularly after 2.00 p.m.).

Fairly heavy falls (about 75-100mm) can be expected at some places, particularly in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Vauniya and Mullaitivu districts.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
