Restructuring  Insurance Corporation Results in Removal of Ravi’s Relative

Minister of Minister of Public Enterprise Development, Kabir Hashim wanted to restructure the  Insurance Corporation. Hence,  he  requested the  Board of Directors to submit their  resignations. Except the  Managing Director of the Srilanka Corporation T.M.R Bangsa Jayah, other  Mananging Director Aruna  Siriwardena and other directors have submitted their  resignation.

Bangsa Jayah had to be removed, as he had not resigned.  Hence,  he has been removed from his position.  He is the brother in law  of Former Minister Ravi Karunanayake , who appointed   him to the position during the 100 days government .

The sources add that Hemaka Amarasuriya will remain as the Chairman.
