While Sick Suffered Inside the Ambulance Employees Tasted Ice Cream

On last Friday (13) , an ambulance was taking a patient for emergency treatment from Jaffna to Vavuniya. On the way when they saw the ice cream van on the road side, they simply stopped the ambulance by the
road side and enjoyed ice cream.

An organization operating in Jaffna to protect the rights of patients lodged a complaint with the Minister of Health of the Northern Provincial Council to order for an inquiry and take steps to ensure that there won’t be any repetition in future.
