Complexity in Gazette Notification Specifying Number of Members? Returned for Amendment.

Sources from Government press revealed that the printing and issuing of gazette specifying the number of members for the local government bodies has been deferred until the end of the week pending rectification by the Ministry of Local Government, and Provincial councils. The said gazette notice has been referred back to the Ministry for necessary amendment. The election commission is empowered to announce the local government election only after publication of this gazette.
