Harsha Orders To Remove “Offensive” Advertising Hoarding From Kotte MC Area

A hoarding, which promoted a gym, conveyed a derogatory message on women thus ridiculing obese women was erected in the Kotte area.

The advertisement came under severe criticism from social media circles over the past two days.

Under these circumstances, the Policy Planning and Economic Affairs Minister Dr. Harsha de Silva has requested the Kotte municipal authorities to remove an advertising hoarding offensive to women
