Party Leaders’ Meeting Today

The Speaker’s Media Division issuing a press statement said the Speaker’s attention was drawn to the media statements by various parties over convening Parliament for a special debate on the two reports prior to the elections.

Accordingly, the Speaker will seek the opinions of Party Leaders and the Elections Commission Chairman and arrive at a collective decision.

Hence, party leaders were invited for a meeting at 1200 noon today (30).
