A Private Bus Caught Fire in Diyatalawa : 19 Wounded (UPDATE)

Nineteen (19) passengers injured in Diyatalawa bus fire incident include 7 from Army ,5 from SLAF and 7 civilians.

Initial investigations conducted by police have revealed that the fire that engulfed a bus at Kahagolla in Diyathalawa was caused by a hand grenade explosion inside the bus.

 However, a senior police officer said that it could only be confirmed after the Government Analyst’s report is released.

 A Private Bus Caught Fire in Kahagolla : 17 Wounded  

Following a minor explosion, a private bus had suddenly caught fire at Kahagolla in Diyatalawa this morning.

At least 17 persons were admitted to the Diyatalawa Hospital with injuries , the Police Spokesman said.
