Kuruminiya Gala Forest Fire Doused

In Wellawaya, Kuruminiya Gala forest area caught forest fire yesterday. Now the situation is in under control.

People in the area along with the tri forces fought the fire and brought it under control.

Around 250 acres of forest land was destroyed due to this fire.

The fire spreads rapidly due to heavy winds and hot weather.
