JO Seeks Debate on Money Received by Parliamentarians From PTL

In a party leaders’ meeting scheduled to be held today (05), the Joint Opposition has proposed to make a request for a parliamentary debate regarding the Central Bank Bond Scam and of persons, who had obtained money from Perpetual Treasuries owner Arjun Aloysius.

While 2 MPs publicly accepted that they had obtained money from Perpetual Treasuries owner, Arjun Aloysius, 37 MPs had said by day before yesterday that they did not obtain money from Aloysius.
