(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The Colombo Crimes Division has launched an investigation into a person who had attempted to intimidate a principal of a prominent school in Moratuwa while claiming to be an advisor of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Issuing a communiqué, the President’s Media Division noted the incident had been reported by several media outlets.
The Office of the President urged the public to report to police of all persons, who attempt to mislead or threaten citizens by falsely claiming to be close associates of the President.
