Release all Tamil Political Prisoners Immediately – Sajith

People who were suspected to have given assistance to LTTE were arrested and kept in prison without

prosecuting for a long time . But LTTE leaders such as Karuna Amman, who was responsible for hacking

and killing Buddhist Monks at Arantalawa was given Minister Post and made Deputy Leader of the SLFB

by Mahinda Rajapakshe. Now he is making a big noise and give wrong notions to the press about the

release of Tamil Political prisoners.

In the past opposition politicians accused Premadasa family for alleged assistance given to the LTTE.

Even now accusation continues unabatedly. But LTTE caused much damage to Premadasa family is not a

secret.

On the otherhand, Mahinda Rajapakshe gave millions of cash to LTTE to prevent People from the North

and East from voting in the Presidential election held then,, which paved way for him to become the

President of Srilanka.Sajith Premadasa said this while opening a new building named “ Srimath

Ranasinghe Premadasa Stadium” of Mahespura Vidyalaya in Tissamaharagama.
