Government Doctors Poised to Strike – Dr. Nalinda Herath

The GMOA said that a decisive executive council meeting will be held today on the impact made on the Government in reference to the budget proposals.

GMOA secretary Dr. Nalinda  Herath said that his Association was ready to go on strike any day this week.

Meanwhile the GMOA explained that the 2500-rupee addition to Government employees’ basic salary, as a result of the budget,   would trigger a problem.
