Sagala Ratnayaka Assured Security for Pada Yathra By JO

Issuing a communiqué the Minister of Law and Peace and Southern Development Sagala Ratnayaka said,  that a protest march carried out by Joint Opposition was not a problem for the Government and that maximum security would be provided for it.

However that while there was zero tolerance for any protest or opponent breaking the law of the land, the Government would be keen to consolidate democracy, committed to protect the supremacy of law.

Sagala Ratnayaka says that he is committed to protect democracy in the country as promised to the people.
