Sri Lanka secures bid to host Miss Tourism World 2022 grand finale
(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – After competing with 15 countries over the past three months, Sri Lanka has successfully secured the bid to host the grand finale of Miss Tourism World 2022 pageant in Sri Lanka and its official press conference was held recently at Cinnamon Grand Colombo with State Tourism Minister Diana Gamage as the chief guest, who has done an immense service securing the bid for Sri Lanka.
Currently State Tourism Ministry Coordinating Secretary and Miss Tourism World 2022 Pageant Chief Advisor Dr. Arosha Fernando and National Director of Sri Lanka for Miss Tourism World 2022 Pageant Malith Ranasinghe accompanied by Miss Tourism World 2022 President and Global Director David Singh from the UK, Miss Tourism Spain 2022 Winner Maica Benedicto Mendez, National Director of Spain for Miss Tourism World 2022 Pageant Julio Albendea Ray and other foreign delegates are visiting the key pageant locations around Sri Lanka.
They have started from Bentota, Hikkaduwa, Yala and are travelling towards Trincomalee, Polonnaruwa, Habarana, Sigiriya and Kandy, to officially approve the locations, considering its beauty, facilities and required security for the mini 80 pageants to be hosted under the grand finale, with 80 participants, from 80 countries.
The official delegation that came to Sri Lanka from the UK and Spain to inaugurate the forthcoming Miss Tourism World 2022 grand finale event in Sri Lanka is scheduled to depart from Sri Lanka end of next week.
