Evidence Emerged Kidnaped person taken to Hirunika – Police

Police reported to Court that evidence is available that the person kidnapped in  Dematagoda  was taken to Hirunika. Statement obtained from the daughter of 5th  accused disclosed this. In her statement made to the police,daughter of the 5th accused said thus” I have identified the man who maintained relationship with my mother. My father and others went in Defender vehicle, kidnapped and taken the person to Hirunika.”

Police reported the Court that investigation report has been submitted to the Attorney General, who has given some advice and they are proceeding with necessary steps.

Earlier Police spokesman said that Hirunika just cannot  be arrested without sufficient evidence.As Police  now reported to the Court that  evidence is available, will she be investigated is the question asked in Political circles.
