Good News For Teachers and Students

It is a general requirement  of the Department of Education that schools should be conducted 210 days in an year.

Taking in  to consideration, Saturdays, Sundays, Government and Commercial and Term end holidays   in the year 2016, only 197 days are left for   school days. Hence, it was determined that schools will be conducted only for 197 days in 2016.

Teachers and students can enjoy this additional 13 days holidays in 2016.
