Kumar Gunaratnam’s remand extended to 05.02.2016

Kumar Gunaratnam , leader of the Frontline Socialist Front was arrested two months back  for violating immigration and emigration laws and remanded.

When the case was called for inquiry, Kegalle Magistrate ordered to remand him further until 05.02.2016.

Political observers say that this is a political victimization and not an non bailable offence. It is alleged that JVP is behind this arrest. It is relevant to mention that Vimal Weeravansa ,who violated  immigration and emigration laws was given bail.
