More Educational Opportunities to Srilankan Students

Under the concept of “Green University”, where all required facilities will be made available within the precincts similar to a village, a National School of Business Management is being established at Homagama at a cost of Rs 10.2 billion loaned by a State Bank. Yearly intake of students stands at 6000,which includes foreign students. Buildings on 25 acres of land have been completed and NSBM is scheduled to be opened by the President and Prime Minister on 16th July 2016.It was planned to open aBranch in Vavuniya and setting up four Faculties in Colombo, Negombo and Trincomale along with a National Training Institute in Polannaruwa. In Killinochi, Srilanka- German Technical Training Institute will be opened on 15th July 2016. In addition, new vocational Training centers are to be opened in Ahangama, Horana and Ratmalana,said Minister of Skills Development&Vocational Training,
