I will not abandon the homeland and go abroad says Gotabhaya

“I will not abandon the people of the country and go abroad when they need me most” stated former Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse through his Facebook page.

He had elaborated in his message that he was touched by the response from the people in the aftermath of the media reports regarding the invitation I received from Singapore.

The former Defense Secretary Guaranteed he has no intention of abandoning the homeland and appreciates the moral support and confidence given to him by the people.
