From last week issuing of Duty free vehicle import licences to 225 MPs commenced. Any MP obtaining this licence could buy any vehicle of his choice irrespective of engine power / capacity or to transfer it at his / her will to any other person.
For import of duty free vehicles MPs were given permit to the value of US$ 62,500.00
News disclosed that these permits are being sold in the open market. Anyone interested could buy these licences between the prices , 180 million and 200 million.
