Srilanka Muslim Congress Rift in Public Domain

The SLMC Secretary kept away from attending SLMC 19 th convention held in Palamunai, Ampara on Saturday, 19th March 2016. He said that  they promised to restore powers taken out from him  before the convention, but not restored. Hence, he kept away from attending this convention , he said.

In the meantime  A.L.M.Kallel and H.M.M.Ismail  who were suspended from the  party’s highest body said, that they were  not conspirating  to remove the Leader.

Disgruntled members of the SLMC is expected to release a letter addressed to the leader of the SLMC to the press today.
