Namal summoned by CID

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s eldest son, Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa had been summoned to appear at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on June 12 to record a statement, Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa tweeted.

“Just received notice to be present at the CID June 12 to record a statement, but no information has been given as to the reason,” the tweet stated.
