Alleged Killer Squad Killed in Thurunuvila

In Thurunuvila, Vettankulama inside a jungle lonely road, three bodies with gunshot injuries were found inside a car by Police at 3pm on Saturday (30 th ). As the vehicle supposed to have been fired from outside both front and rear windows were found shattered. Two bodies were I the front seat while the third body was at the back seat.

Police was able to identify one of the victims. He is a former soldier named Sarath Bandara. But he is known as SF Banda. He was suspect in several murders with court cases pending against him. He is said to be a notorious figure, allegedly maintained close connection with the underworld elements.

A special team of Thirappane Police is conducting further investigations under the direction of Anuradhapura ASP.
