The Sri Lanka Freedom party (SLFP) only want to bring back their leader into mainstream politics so that the investigations into their fraud and corruption during their regime will come to a stop stated United National Party (UNP) media spokesperson and Education Minister Akila Viraj kariyawasam.
The Minister further elaborated that the hope the SLFP have to form a government is simply a dream that will be crushed with the coming General election. He also mentioned that the UNP is now once again revived and on its feet, many of its members have made many sacrifices for it to do so and without a doubt the UNP will win 125 seats in the coming election.
The Minister made these statements addressing a meeting held at UNP headquarters Sirikotha.
