Asian Development Bank Grants US$ 3 Million Loan to Srilanka

Finance Minister, Ravi Karunanayake immediately after returning from Germany, where he attended 49 th Convention of World Finance Ministers announced that ADB has come forward to grant a loan of US$ 3 million to Srilanka on easy repayment terms. Normally ADB grants loan at an interest rate ranging from 6 to 7 %. But the loan to Srilanka will be charged between 1 and 1 ½ % he said.
