JVP Denies Recent Media Reports Of Party Divisions

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna denies recent media reports which claimed that there was a serious division within the party.

Several media had reported that there was a serious division in JVP, since in-party objections have risen against the leadership of JVP leader, MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

According to these reports, K. D. Lalkantha and Tilvin Silva had been suggested as a replacement of the party leadership. However, the JVP said,  that they are false news.
