Receding of Flood Water to Possibly take 2 More Days

The Department of Irrigation has said , it may take about two more days for the flood situation, which had arisen after the rising water levels of the Kelani River, to recede.

However the water levels of the other rivers were receding as well, the Director of the Water Science Division of the Department of Irrigation, Prema Hettiarachchi said.
