Police Commission Calls for Report on Police Threatening The Media

DIG Perera has threatened several journalists on 17^th during a press conference.

Followed by this incident , issuing a statement Sri Lanka Working Journalists’ Association has condemned his remarks.

National Police Commission (NPC) has called for a report on Special Task Force (STF) Commandant, DIG Ranjith Perera over his threatening remarks to media.

NPC Secretary Ariyadasa Cooray said, the report will be submitted to the commission today.
