SL Navy all out to Prevent Replenishment of Marijuna

Navy Commander Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne said, that there is a severe shortage of Marijuana in Sri Lanka,  as a result of the constant raids carried out by the police STF  to destroy Marijuana plantations. Hence heavy drug trafficking  through the sea from India is expected.In view of this. the Sri lankan Navy has decided to implement a security plan to put a stop to drug trafficking which takes place across the ocean between India and Sri lanka.  Navy patrol boats have been dispatched for this purpose.
