Sri Lankan flight carrying 193 passengers faces fright

A Sri Lankan Airlines flight en route from Paris to Sri Lanka faced a drop in pressure during the flight. 5 crew members were met with slight injuries. The flight was carrying 193 passengers and 16 crew members.

Sri Lankan Airlines media spokesperson Deepal Perera stated that the flight had met with this pressure drop after entering Sri Lankan airspace and the turbulence that had resulted from it had thrown the crew around and causing the minor injuries.

Mr. Perera further stated that because of the responsible course of action taken by the Sri Lankan Airlines staff no passenger was hurt nor traumatized by the incident.
