Government agrees to grant 41% Golden Key deposits

 

Deputy Solicitor General Viraj Dayaratna today (18) said that the government has agreed to grant 41% of the deposits of the depositors at Golden Key company.

Making submissions to the Supreme Court today, the Deputy Solicitor General stated that the government agreed to grant those who have deposited two million rupees or less – within a month – two million rupees to ten million rupees – within two months – and to those who have deposited over 10 million rupees, within a year.

The Deputy Solicitor General added that the cabinet report on this decision will be submitted to court by July 25.
